True Love is the world premiere of paintings by the Brixton based Nigerian artist Abe Odedina, hosted by Squire & Partners at The Department Store.
The work comprises a series of paintings commissioned by Danny Boyle for the South African based youth charity, Dramatic Need, animated versions of which were shown at The Carnegie Hall in New York last year.
The paintings respond to testimonies from young people in South Africa who had undergone highly traumatic life experiences. Now, in his home town of Brixton, Odedina will exhibit these paintings for the first time.
